Professional Experience
After graduating from the law school of Boston College in 1971, Attorney Richard Canzano founded the law firm of Blumsack & Canzano, P.C. along with his law school friend, Charles Blumsack.
Attorney Canzano has more than 50 years of experience practicing law. He focuses on the jury trials of complex litigation matters. Through trials, motions practice, or settlements, Attorney Canzano, who oversees the litigation practice in the firm’s offices, has resolved many lawsuits in a wide range of substantive areas of litigation. Since 1971, Attorney Canzano has developed well-recognized expertise in representing public entities, in addition to his extensive experience in business litigation, employment law and litigation, and civil rights representation. Attorney Canzano’s practice also includes all aspects of general civil litigation, including mediation, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Through his extensive experience, Attorney Canzano has developed a big-picture strategic vision and strong tactical savvy, complemented by strong investigation skills and meticulous case forensics and management abilities.
